"Hey Addy Palm, give me a slap of the palm!" -Jordan asking for a high five

So today was pretty good, even though it's only 11:30 it's been pretty productive. I got up around 8:30ish and went to the Cop Shop to get my wallet back. Amazingly, all the cash that was in it was still there! How awesome. So I went downtown from there, sent out my money order for my NIN tickets, and sat and enjoyed downtown for a while.

Went to the mall, where my adventure really began...

Now as most people know, I'm not the typical girly girl. And one thing I REALLY hate...is shopping. Me and Erik had a conversation about this, shopping is the worst, especially when you go with other girls. For god's sake it does not take 2 hours to buy a pair of pants! So I was sort of dreading going shopping at the mall, and I made sure I went alone to hide my embarassment. The worst part about this whole ordeal was the fact that I was shopping for underwear, it was horrible.

I found out today that the best and (as far as I'm concerned) the only way to go shopping at the mall is early, like 10am when the stores just open. There's no annoying kids there, it doesn't smell yet, and the store clerks are too tired to push you to buy shit. So I walked into La Senza, and right way, holy crap I'm in over my head. I just walked around for a while not knowing what to do, blinded by all the silk and lace, I had no idea what I was doing, I don't really even know what size I am in anything. So after about 15 minutes of me staring blankly at the walls, the lady working is like "Excuse me...do you need help?", thank god. She fitted me for a bra (creepy), and for underwear (creepier) and I got what I needed and got the hell out of there. Needless to say, won't be going back there anytime soon (hopefully).

To make things a bit better, I stopped by the Second Cup and talked to all the cute guys working there, Cameron, Jordan, and some Asian guy who looked like Teppei so he was sexy. Jordan high fived me, the Asian guy was jelous that I saw Norma Jean twice, and Cameron was...Cameron-y. Then I went home, what an adventure (not really).

Oh, I also got myself a copy of With Teeth FINALLY. So I'll listen to that now, awesome.

I just read the latest Megatokyo strip for today, and oh my god, I'm so frustrated. Largo and Erika belong together!! Why can't they see that!?! AGH! I'm such a nerd.

Oh and my GUITAR JUST CAME!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!

That was my adventure for my day off work. Now I'm going to watch some bad TV, and then go out with Stephen and the Davianator. Later Kids.
